Moody owners have a really good Association with forum and Quarterly magazine. Costs £20 ($30) a year which we have been really usefull during our ownership over the last couple of years.

Overall impression from the UK side of the pond is of quality well built yachts.

Gbendaly,
I have owned a 1980 33 C/C since 2002. They are GREAT boats. If you have priced them in Yacht World, you will see what these boats go for in Europe. They are Lloyyd's Certified, built in Portsmouth by a very experienced yard. Boats were built to handle the North Sea. Mine has crossed an ocean or two. I have had many tell me that my boat rides like a much bigger (40ft) boat. It's always nice to pull up in a boat that is relatively rare in this area too, Lol. Please be mindful of the advice often posted on this board, however, that would you rather be working on a boat, or sailing it? when you decide, after survey, how much work is this "bargain" boat going to be? Take your best estimate on time and $ and then double or triple it....no kidding.
Good luck!
