Measurments for Shipping ?

Where would I find the measurements on a sailing vessel (33") to send to a trucking company, so I may get an est. cost to ship cross country?
Thank you.

If its an experienced boat hauler he may be familiar enough to give a quote. There are certain break points that make it much more expensive. wider than a certain point requires wide load precautions etc...

a shipper will want the total height from the bottom of the keel to the highest point on deck, maximum beam, loa and weight. you will find these numbers in various places like yachtworld or various owners sites, or just by using a tape measure.

thanks johnar, do you know of someone that has shipped a Morgan Out Island 33 cross country, by truck? I'd care to have the specs. that they used, if possible the company name. I am interested in that vessel. Thank you, Ernie.
