Well, I upgraded my ticket from 50 to 100 tons recently.

Did it by logging time on bigger boats for the last 5 years.

i took their course to upgrade from 6pack to masters - 50 ton and i think they sell the books as well as a home study course and a cd for pc that really helps with rules of the road which requires a score of 90 to pass. if you are planning to test, and not just buying the books for reference, i suggest you see who is teaching in your area. i learned more from the class than just answers to cg exam questions. capt. lar
