Mast Raising Methods on Trailerable Sailboats

Our new to us 1988 Com-Pac 23/3 has a mast that is just a bit too heavy to be stepped manually. So we looked around the net for mast raising systems and found primarily gin pole setups which seem to be OK, but time consuming and use pieces that have to be installed and uninstalled every time you step the mast. We wanted something a little easier to use and borrowed ideas from other sailors to come up with this easy to use system.
