Mason 33/34 Information

I am looking for any and all information on the Mason/PAE 33/34 sailboat. I see it referred to as a 33 and as a 34. I really like this design and am considering it as an offshore cruiser for extended cruising. I also saw a post from Nordhavn back in 2005 stating that they would still consider building one? I thought they destroyed the molds in 2002?

Does anyone have any information, reviews, or experience with this boat that can shed some light?

Practical Sailor reviewed the boat a while back (not sure the date, it's in their Boat Buying Book): "We hate to sound mush headed, but there is simply little to crticize in the Mason 33. It is true that some people may not like the full keel design of the boat, preferring a lighter, high performance hull. But given the design, there is hardly anything wrong." That coming from Practical Sailor speaks volumes!!

Looking at pictures of the one on yachtworld, it seems like that the cabin sole begins to slope upwards in the galley which may make it uncomfortable to stand. The sole also slopes in the nav station area, so there might not be comfortable legroom when sitting there.
