Marine Insurance cliam !!

It is a sad week this week, my boat a (hunter23.5) got washed up on shore during a 120 km/h plow wind. she sustained serious damage a hole in the bottom as well as many cracks from bouncing up and down on stumps and rocks. I'm thing it will be a total loss.

Last year we had a big wind storm, a pontoon party barge got ripped off its mooring hitting my boat and gouged up the port side, I went thru insurance and got it all repaired.

Now it is the starboard side.
Would insurance deny my claim, since I had a claim 10 months ago?

Re: Marine Insurance cliam !!

a good insurance should not deny that claim. having said that, insurance companies are known to try a trick here or there.

if there is nothing in the contract about max. claims / timeperiod you shouldn't have a problem.

either way, there's really only one way to find out....
