Lizzy, that was every morning for me for lotsa years. My life (such as it is) changed with a shower on board. It's worth the hassle. For me.

Or running warm water, even, hahaha!
Usually I try to get to the showers before 7am or after midnight - no line.

If and when I do treat myself to a few extra feet, there will be a shower and a real cabin with a comfy berth

Can you even do that? Probably can, but have to admit: thought never even crossed my mind.

My boat came w/shower, pressure water, and water heater. What most boaters take for granted, no doubt, but a real luxury for me. You can make a shower if need be. Easy peasy with a pump up garden sprayer.

My boat has just enough creature comforts to not miss much from a land based existence... a separate comfy sleeping area (cabin)... a large galley, hot water and shower... Of course everything is smaller and compact compared to land stuff, but more than adequate. I do not feel I have compromised on these comforts to live on the boat.

I understand that english is not your first language but nowhere did Steph suggest buying a boat with a c/card.
That suggestion came from within the darker corners of your demeanour.
I suspect you were never taught 'kindness' but never to late to learn.

What about as soon as i get to boat, get it on the hard, make it get dry for 2 weeks or more, sand anti fouling, and cover ALL the hull with a good layer of epoxy resins?
Then add coppercoat on it, just to be sure it's like a new watertight and stiffened hull (more or less), no osmosis, no problem,ecc...

These 2 are the only affordable in alluminium

Leftbrain. You are right, Stephs figure were probably missing a zero but with the help of CF he WILL get there...unlikelt 50 foot but he will get there.
A bit of encouragement is a great panacea in the absence of wealth and/or previous experience.
Stephano....never give up the dream, providing of course you have skills and inclme.
