Looking for a Tartan 3400

Searching for a Tartan 3400. Have been researching for over a year. Just sailed one and loved it. Pretty much checks all the boxes. Looking for any feedback good and bad as well as any leads on potential availability apart from known listings. Would need a shoal draft or keel/centerboard.
Thanks
Mo

There are several that appear to be nice on YW. Have you looked at those? the 345 is also the updated 3400 which should provide a couple more.

Re: Looking for a Tartan 3400

There was one for sale here near me last year. It is an absolutely beautiful boat, and it had a lifting centerboard, or something similar.

I seriously considered buying it, but in the end I decided against it. I am 6'2" and while the cockpit was large enough for me to stretch out and lie down, the aft cabin and head were a little too cramped for me. If I was smaller, it would be ideal.

Re: Looking for a Tartan 3400

Thanks for the replies. The 345 is great but cant afford it. I am also 6'2" and although I agree with the dimensional challenge I thought it was livable but maybe I need to spend a little more time on it. Had good headroom down below and the V berth length was decent. Cars and boats are tough on us tall guys. I thought it handled great and between the electric winch, the self tacking jib, and the in boom folding main, single handling is doable. Plus it's build is solid.
