Ill second this. Outstanding guy. He actually surveyed the last boat i SOLD. You better have your stuff in good shape, because every thing is going to be tested and evaluated. We were on test sail and he was below pulling apart cupboard to get to chainplates for inspection. Our boat was in excellent shape and we came thru with few issues out of his 50 page report. Id love to have him rep me on a buy. I keep my boats in top condition and his report reflected that.

Oh, and its Port Aransas.

I should have hired Firestone. You should. I hired a clown dressed up as a sailor. C'est la vie

One more for Mike Firestone. 361.549.7767. He lives in Port A. I've never seen anyone so thorough. And he's full of great advice. On top of that, he's a nice guy. He has surveyed our boat multiple times, and also did a quick survey while still in the slip the week after Hurricane Harvey. Even if you have to wait, use Mike. P.S. Some brokers call him a "deal killer". I can absolutely say we would not own our boat if it were not for Mike talking us off the ledge. If a deal dies after his survey, it deserved to die.
