Hi Pete,
I hope you have a great new year. You mentioned the waterline on coconut was raised for the extended voyage, what is the pourpose of that?
I have just replaced two of my old GIBB winches with
Lewmar st 44's and I am very excited to take the boat for a sail this weekend and try them out.
One of the problems I find on my boat is the steps in the
companionway that also covers the
motor. You need to dismantle all of it everytime I want access to the
motor. I have a friend who is a boat
builder and he suggested we build new stairs out of fibre glass and make it one unit for easy
removal.
If you don't mind me asking I would appreciate if you could show me some pics of your Spray
dodger, also planning to build one for the day that we will go on an extended sail.
Thanks for your responses, and if you need any details from my boat just let me know.
Johan
