Lateral stay diameter on 1976 Morgan Oi 41’

If anyone happens to know the diameter I’d greatly appreciate it. Had one break loose in key west yday and shopping for a new stay lock. Apparently they are sized by the 32nd of an inch.

Thanks as always

Paul

I suggest you invite a rigger for a full rig inspection. Don’t forget to include the chain plates.

StaLoks are sized by wire diameters which very from 1/32nd" or larger gradations. If you still have the wire, get a caliper and measure the stay. Ask around the harbor, someone is sure to have one.

What's a lateral stay??
