Has anyone heard of a Landfall Yahct I am came across a 39' footer on the net and it looks like a great cruiser. Good displacment, full keel, lots of space, good fuel/water tankage. What do you folks think?
Man Gordy you are a wealth of nautical knowledge. I always enjoy reading your post's. Either that or your justa big fat know it all But I always love reading your post and I hope to meet you someday out on the water. Thanks for the info!
I own a landfall39 and they are the Ron Amy design. Good boats, I use mine as a liveaboard, just for a year so far, and I love it, just got the wood revarnished this summer, the previous owner just let it go, it handles nicely and is a great boat
Originally built in Taiwan by the designer, Ron Amy (joint owner of A+B Hardware), subsequently built in FRP by SINO-AMERICAN & then by CENTRAL YACHTS as the LANDFALL 39. A 45 ft version was built, albeit briefly, by UNION YACHT COMPANY. Another version is the SPRINDRIFT 43 built at FORMOSA. All built in Taiwan. A very solid, cruising yacht with a unusually spacious PH & seagoing accommodations for 4/5.
