Lafitte 44 History

Perhaps looking for a needle in a haystack here....

Trying to find and contact the owner of a Lafitte 44 damaged in hurricane Irma. The boat has changed hands at least once since then.

Specifically interested in details of the keel damage to her.

Boat's name is "Slainte" out of St. Thomas.

Any leads on her are much appreciated.

The boat was shipped to Fort Lauderdale in 2018.

The damage was reported to be the SS plate holding the mast up, not the keel, the plate was bent. The plate has been replaced and the members holding it have been re-glassed and fortified. Another surveyor more rece4ntly reported that this kind of damage is sometime seen in boats with overtightened rigs.
