Kirie Feeling - Does anyone know this make?
So I'm looking as various brands of sailboats and came across one called Kirie Feeling, does anyone have any knowledge of this brand? I'm curious as to the reviews on this one.
Thank you in advance for your knowledge,
Velma

Re: Kirie Feeling - Does anyone know this make?
In Canada the Kirie Feeling was manufactured during the 80's in Sorel, Quebec as an Elite.
I have sailed an Elite 364 (coastal) and and Elite 37 (offshore and coastal). I quite liked them. The 37 have some problems with rot in the aft stringers.
Where in Alberta?

Re: Kirie Feeling - Does anyone know this make?
Hi,
Kirié was a french company which had a quite good reputation, ie, good quality, good construction... Many of them did a trip around the world..
They din't passed one of the last economic crisis. But in the Med, you can still see a lot of Kirié.. In the Channel too, because they were well known for their series with the keel up and down (sorry I don't know the term in english). A lot of papers were written in french nautical reviews in where there were comparisons between Beneteau - Jenneau - Kirié (3 of the most famous companies 15 years ago) ... Maybe can you find one with Googoo...

Re: Kirie Feeling - Does anyone know this make?
I spied one for sale some 18 months ago in the Carib. It was very pleasingly priced in the Euro and being a French vessel, I deduced that it would meet the EU CE quality and would be easily reintroduced to EU waters.
I was most taken with its modern appearance and warmed to is charms. Unfortunately, the broker declined to reply to my interest.
