Hi everyone,
After successfully converting the wife and daughter to
boating with a 6.1mt fixed
keel open
boat, it is time to move on to "one with a lid", so I am about to
purchase another new-to-me"
boat.
The requirements are for it to be a trailer-sailer and offer the greatest possible comfort so that wife and daughter continue enjoying sailing.
But... since I have a very modest car and a
trailer that can only pull 1300kg (that being boat and
trailer, so roughly only 1000Kg of boat) my options are truly limited.
From what I could find and due to my location (Europe) I have narrowed it down to 2, possibly 3
boats.
Dehler Varianta 65
Kelt 620
Jeanneau flirt (the 3rd option)
I have never sailed any of these
boats, so if you have any suggestions, first hand experience with any, please advise.
On a personal level I would go for the Dehler, but is seems that the Kelt and
Jeanneau have a bit more space... albeit being uglier boats for me.
Any thoughts?
