Jeanneau SO 479 or SO 440.

After owning mostly performance cruisers, I have a chance to buy a well equipped 2017 SO 379 or a similarly equipped New SO 440. Both boats are in Europe and will be sailed in the Med under USCG registration.
379 was privately owned and has ~600 hrs. on the engine new batteries and is %20 cheaper and looks like she should come out of survey with flying colors. I know 440 pretty well and like the new design and twin rudders even tough I heard there's a ton of water coming into the leeward helm position in rough weather because of it. I want to hear from owners or skippers who sailed either boat. Appreciate the input.

I will say that new cockpit design of the 440 with the walk around helms is a game changer. Being able to quickly get out from behind the helm and on deck will help when being at sea, and the ability to fold the seatbacks flat is great while at anchor.
