Jarkan

Hello,

I'm trying to find out any info on a Jarkan 12.5s.These boats were buit in Australia and as far as i know they still build boats. I have tried searching on the search engine here but it came up blank. I have made an appointment to view one tomorrow and would like to know a bit about them .I know they built alot of centre cockpit 10.5 metre yachts that are slow but well built, any info would be appreciated,we are a family of three who have sold our Business and are full time looking for a boat to "Live the dream" as they say.

Jarkan Yachts < Jarkan Yacht Builders Australia > don’t list the 12.5 on their website, tho' I do see them advertised for sale.
You might try contacting Kanga Birtles (Managing Director) at:

Re: Jarkan

Hi old thread I know but I was wondering if anyone had a more thorough view of the Jarkan 10.5 with regards to overall sailability and general cruising comfort for Aussie East coast and South Pacific? Looking at a purchase against other 35' vessels sub $100K so input welcome[emoji848]

Re: Jarkan

We’ve taken a Jarkan 9.5 on the last three Sydney to Hobarts so I’m sure a 10.5 would do the job for coastal.

Offshore - depends more on the crew than the boat.
