Hi all, I'm new here & a new owner of an Islander 21'! I searched the forums a bit thanks to all for past info, I'll keep mining. I noticed that "islandersailboats" websites both seem defunct now, which is very sad. Thank goodness for the Internet Archive Wayback Machine or all the knowledge would be totally lost!!

Big thanks and shout out to mobilchuckje for all the photos on Flickr and Photobucket, they really helped me see my boat in a new way!

Should I spin up a new IslanderSailboats website to keep the flame burning, or am I missing something?

Thanks for all the links, I joined sailnet (seems to be same tech/engine as this site) and sailboat owners and yahoo group. They all seem a little quiet though. Is the party all in Facebook?

Looks like the domains for islandersailboats at .com .ca .net .info and .org are all registered, but no one is paying the web hosting to keep the sites active

I registered the domain islandersailboat.info, so I should have a site up sometime soon and will make links out to all the links above.

Sounds good also there used to be a couple of all islander rendezvous every summer on the west coast one here in the San Juan islands and one in California at Catalina island.
