Hey Islander guys.

I had a westerbeke L25 in my 1979 islander 32. Finally replaced it with a new Beta 20, shaft, coupling, prop, transmission.

Does anyone have this same engine?? So far, so good. I had to modify the mounts and get a longer shaft and different prop but it all seems to be working OK. The only problem is a cavitation at about half throttle. I need to research which prop I need. I am using a 2 blade and thinking of going to 3.

Anybody have the same engine?

Also selling the original Hillrange 3 burner alcohol stove/oven and pressure tank.

I'm probably going to get i trouble with the moderator but here goes.

After 3 years of resurrecting my Islander 32 from the dead, I may have to sell her.

I have stripped it to the bare glass inside and out. New engine, trans, coupling, shaft cutlass bearing, prop among other things. I will be making a for sale posting in the proper location.

like to see islander site took my islander 37 beth to rendezvous San Juan at deer harbor/ July 2015, first event for me very nice time great group of people. 2016 was penciled in for event in BC . WE all seemed to be alittle computer challenged so islander site maybe needed tool thanks
