ID This Swing Keel Boat

Hey guys,

I am looking at buying a small sailboat with a swing or retractable keel, that I can trailer to eliminate moorage costs (I am 17) and I have found this little 26 footer that seems like a nice little boat so far, and the price is nice!

Anyways, I have contacted the owner about getting more photos, and I will soon, but this is all I have for now. I was wondering if you could identify who makes this boat? And if you could tell me more about it?

Which I can't help with but might help others if you identified the country you / the boat is in........

Although hard to tell from the photos, I would be surprised if she was 26 Foot - might want to take a tape measure when you view (miss-described lengths and boat models not uncommon).

Might be a European version of Catalina. I think it might be a Capri.

Looks like an old Venture 25 (aka:MacGregor 25) with custom side ports (windows). the pictures aren't quite clear, so there is also a possibilty that this is a TRADEWINDS 26 built by Luger (a company in Minnesota that used to produce kitboats to be finished off by the owner). Anyway, I'd be 100% certain that she is either a Venture/Macgregor 25 or a Tradewinds 26.

What, no ID tag on it? It should have one, or the previous owner should have it on the title?

I'd be almost 99% certain that the mystery boat is in fact a LUGER Tradewinds 26!

I've included brochure pages for both the V25 (aka Macregor 25) and the Tradewinds 26 below. I really don't know why I didn't think of doing that last night!
