ID this Boat, Please
Spotted in Secret Cove, BC and really liked the looks; wanted to learn more about the design.
Does anyone recognize it?

looks cheoy lee-ish
also looks gulf-ish--moreso than cheoy lee--hasnt a clipper bow, whereas cheoy does.
gulf has a model like that one. is cute lil boat.

If you can get close to the boat and it's American made, there will be Hull ID at the top right corner of the transom. It on code will tell you.Come back here with the number and some one will know.
Gulfstars start with GFSxxxxxxxxx, GFS stands for Gulfstar...

I can't make out the name on the bow. Blow up the original and see if a Google search gets you anything. If the boat is raced at all it may show up in on-lie race results with the boat type listed. There may be other lists it is on that would get you leads.

It looks to me like a Truant 37. The faux plank lines molded into the hull are the biggest clue. Found this one is for sale on yachtworld right now in Vancouver:

I don't think so, though it might be a later significantly changed model.
The mystery boat has a straight line for the bow possibly with hollow cheeks like a clipper, the main sheets at the very aft end of the pilothouse, the forward end of the cabin slopes down with windows in the cabin and the aft end of the waterline has multiple curves like you might be seeing the top of the rudder.
The line drawing of the G32 shows a spoon bow, sheet forward slightly on the house top, the cabin top stays flat forward with windows in the raised deck edge and the aft end of the water line is a simple curve.

I'd guess a Saturna or Cooper/Brewer, Truant Triad, maybe? The pilothouse deckhead has the curvature of the Gulfs, but their cabins end more abruptly, I think, at the fore end. The shear forward is significant, which makes me think Garden or Brewer. Then, again, the tiny cockpit (relative to the profile) is much like the Gulfs. So, how much are we betting? Equal money on Saturna & Truant T, for me.

Yeah, after looking at the Yachtworld listing, same shear, same slope of cabin roof forward, same cockpit shape, etc., even the arches on the lifelines.

is not a gulfstar--GULF is a different boat entirely than gulfstar. both are cruising boats. gulf is a slow cruising boat very solid and cute, gulfstar is a different company.
never seen a truant before. is a pretty boat. looks capable.
