Thanks much. Since this is the 5th sailboat I've owned in the past 25 years, I'm well aware of all of the pitfalls you mention. I was refitting a boat with a friend once and he said "you need three of these blocks. I don't know how much they will cost." Without missing a beat I said " if I need three, they'll cost $33 each." I was dead on.

Hopefully your description is close to the truth and this girl will bring you more pleasure than pain !
