I Bought a Boat Wthout a Mast

So seems to me the best option for me would be to find a junk boat and get all the stuff I need from it. The boat I bought is a Bayfield 32. It has some grooves in the mast facing the front on each side that im not familiar with. But regardless of couse I would like to find the closest to origonal as possible. Still im sure that with all the boats destroyed by sandy I can find something. I found a mast/rigging from a morgan 27 that is the right length and its all pretty cheap. The size of the mast i need is 45ft keel stepped, or longer and i can cut. If it wasnt memorial day i would be calling around and pricing new mast just to get a good laugh. And i need sails too. Ill post a pic of my origonal mast soon. All advice greatly appreciated.
