I got my hands on a 83 Hunter 37C that needs some significant deckwork. About 8' on each side. I'm hoping to use the same core material to do the repair.

I intend to replace some deck core. Can anyone tell me the thickness of the balsa core? I am thinking of replacing damaged core with Divinycell H80 PVC structural foam core. https://shop.fiberglasssupply.com/Co...Foam_Core.html.
Changing core materials can have unintended consequences. Depending on size of area and stress points, materials with different properties may cause more problems than you solve.
