On mine, which is electric via 9volt battery, I unscrew the face bezel and move the minute hand. To replace the battery, maybe every 3 years, I have to unscrew the wall mounting screws to install a new battery, accessible only from the back. This is a typical engineering problem often found on boats. No thought to maintenance.

+1 I have the same stupid clock. Set it to 1700 pull the battery, and get a good watch.
