time passing you don't have new boat and you die with hill of money on account. and somebody receive your money and celebrate this with big party.

If you are retired sitting on millions, sure...spend the money because you can't take it with you.
But too many people take up that attitude when they are young and are unable to delay gratification and in the long run they wind up poorer for it (not just in cash).
To the OP: If you aren't pressed to make the move now, I would sit tight. If inflation and gas prices stay high and then unemployment starts chasing them up, expect the boat market to crash by mid to late summer. So far I've seen nothing to suggest we are coming out of the recession (yeah, I know per economists, it doesn't officially get the title yet but anyone with eyes can see it.)

Pleasure boating, leisure travel and other forms of high carbon lifestyles were a short term 100 year phenomenon.
No surplus, no consumption. We are re-entering the eons long constraints of scarcity.
Direct fuel use is being eliminated first, but then second order items used for non productive output, like electric pleasure boat motors, are next. For one, where does the energy come from to craft the part, transport, service & maintain?
This is what build back better (bbb) addresses. Force the economy to switch to core essentials, provide a universal basic income (ubi) while transitioning to a subscription model for housing, health, etc

Subscription model for housing already exists and it’s called rent
For cars it’s called leasing
For boats it’s called chartering
I think you get the picture

Naaah. We're just too slow getting off our collective ass to re-engage with nuclear energy, and large-scale renewable-energy. It'll happen.

Re: Hot market?
Who knows want the boat market will do.
You either want to have a boat or chase a great deal. Either way it is going to cost you, but one allows you to boat now.
Good boats correctly priced are always are in demand.

Re: Hot market?
I have been looking for waterfront property in NE for the past 2 summers. I set up searches in zillow/redfin that send me emails anytime a new property comes on the market, has a price change, or goes under agreement.
Last summer I would get about 5 emails a day, with most of the houses selling at list, above list, and lasting less than 5 days.
I did buy a place, but have been unable/too lazy to figure out how to stop the searches.
For the past 6 weeks, I have been getting about 15-20 emails a day; I would say 90% of the emails are price decreases.
I think at least for the higher end properties, we have seen the peak. And with interest rates more than double what they were last year, I got 2.8, now they are at 5.6, I think not only will prices not being going up, but more properties coming on the market and staying there longer.
I have also seen some layoffs announced by the high tech companies here.
Alot of people purchased boats/RVs during the pandemic, and might be thinking they can't or aren't using them as much, and with inflation taking a toll, they might be reconsidering at the end of the season.
I think this fall you see many more boats available. I hope I am correct, I have been looking for a nice daysailor under 30' that isn't too old, and my choices have been SO limited.
My 2c. A flip of the coin if I am correct.

Re: Hot market?
In April we nearly bought a waterfront place. We passed. It is still on market, with a changed broker.
I read an interesting article about how another of New fsgled startups were running a operation deficit but increasing sale brought in venture capital. Now that cheap capital is going away and these companies are struggling to make a operating profit, raising service prices, driving inflation. Made a lot of sense.
Our situation is reversed, we liveaboard and suspect someday we will need to buy a house. We are waiting and watching. We have cash, high interest rates work in our favor.

We might, time is not right yet.
We just sold our 4 apt house, good price, got hammered on taxes. Getting rid of that place was like retiring again, done with the responsibility and worry.
We need to see how what the market dies and how we age.
