History of a Custom 30

Hi all,
I have been around here for years. Almost 3 years ago I bought my first boat. Despite all the reading I had done before the purchase on how to buy a boat in the end I followed my gut and bought the second boat I looked at. She is a 1983 Custom 30 built in Western Australia. That is pretty much all I know. The boat was in good condition as I did not want a project boat (I had just finished renovating the house for 9 months and had enough of hard physical Labour, at least for a while). I am only the third owner and the previous owner bought her after retirement from his navigator job in the Navy. He took really good care of her but she needed upgrades and I was on a steep learning curve. Still am - of course. She has a 2003 28hp 3 cylinder Volvo which I know now better than I had planned.
Anyway, does anyone know more about the yacht, designer, builder and specs? I know the incredible braintrust this site is. Thanks for reading thus far!
