Hard to tell with the topsides covered.. boats are like cars in that they have makers individualities built in.. like style of cabin tops, port lights and hatchways..
How long is it..?

Re: Help identifying this boat.

That is a racer from the late 1970s. Maybe a half tonner - around 30 to 32 feet ?

Run, don't walk. It is there for a reason.

Re: Help identifying this boat.

cant help with the id other than to say ior racer of 70s-80s vintage. looks like it went up soft, wasnt driven up the beach, main isnt tattered etc. i wouldnt run at all, but would have a good look at the keen attachment and rudder stock. im going to guess, with 12% certainty, the main gaskets came loose in a little breeze and she dragged or parted her mooring and came ashore. very survivable for even a racers scantlings. if its a documented vessel the paperwork gets tricky and the marina cant just give it away...

Re: Help identifying this boat.

Was it sunk? It does appear to have an inboard engine. If it was sunk I would forget it, if not, pick it up if you are up for a big project!

Carsten
Its not a complete hole she came loose from the dock and rubed the first layer of glass.

We had a ton for flooding in texas this year. A lot of abandoned boats here atm.

I dont think it sank but, it looks like her hatches were open during all the storms.

The marina owns it now. The guy said they just wanted to get it out of there but, that was just a worker. i left a message at the office yesterday.

Re: Help identifying this boat.

Look on the transom for the Hull Identification Number (HIN). It is a 12 or 14 character serial number that is unique to the boat.

GOOGLE the manufacturers ID and it will tell you what you want to know.
(Google HIN to get a translation of the Date Of Manufacture, as it is coded)

Re: Help identifying this boat.

Two thoughts; Better be sure of title, ownership and state law before purchasing it from the Marina Operator. It's very expensive to purchase a boat a piece at a time.....Don't mean to discourage you......just tread carefully.... As one of the posters said; 'It's there for a reason'
Good luck with your decision.
