Has Anyone Sailed a Lancer 44 w/Flybridge?

I am refitting an 83 model with two Perkins 4.236s and am wondering how she sails. Previous owner had her for 7 years but never got her off the hard.

Have you gotten to sail your fly bridge Lancer? If so would you mind sharing how she sails

Nope. We're still in Arkansas prepping the boat. She will remain dismasted until we get to salt water. We're hoping to get under way this June. I will gladly post further once we have actually sailed her.

Thanks. Looking forward to your post. Btw: @skwanderer here has pretty much the same exact Lancer model with flybridge and has said positive things about it.

I cruise 7-8 kts under power, have so far been able to achieve 4-6 kts under sail. It's the best of both worlds. Also consider the Nauticat motorsailer

Re: Has Anyone Sailed a Lancer 44 w/Flybridge?

Hi Folks,

If anyone has a Lancer 44 pilothouse for sale or leads on where I might find one, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
