Gulfstar Sailmaster 50??

I am in the market for my next boat, I have come across a mid 80s Gulfstar Sailmaster 50. I have no experience with this particular boat, anybody here with some experience with them that could shed some light on the good and bad of them? Thank you.

The Gulfstar Sailmaster boat models have been discussed here before, and you will find many comments from owners and past owner in the threads linked here on this linked list. While some of the thread titles may not say "Sailmaster 50" I have included them because some of those threads will include comments about the Sailmaster models, and the Gulfstar brand (quality, build, reputation, etc.).

As I recall, a young couple bought one a couple of years ago and live aboard it in NYC area. I recall they have/had a blog that showed their use of the boat (mostly stationary in a slip) as a "condo" type liveaboard. You may find it by google searching.
