Gulf 29 Pilothouse

Have looked at prior postings and cannot find my specific interest,if is any owner or personal experience.
Looking at the design noticed the chain plates are well inboard,on the side of the house and secured thru deck,my concern is water leaks and how owners have dealt with?
Any other concerns about this particular boat?

That could certainly be part of the research problem.

The Gulf 29 and 32 are sometimes called "Capital Gulf 29" too.
