I was searching for a while, but can not find if that boat is "blue water" capable. It have bad diesel engine, but I can fix it. How far would you go with that boat(good engine)?

Well, it depends on the overall condition of course, but if everything is sound you can go where you like. At least one has crossed the North Atlantic from Newfoundland to Portugal.

It is 1972 Grampian g30 with vovlvo penta engine. Engine have low compression. I suspect rings, but I will completely rebuild. I do not take shortcuts. The owner wants $2500 for. Just wander of how solid the hull may be. Not much info about those boats.

I have a friend that own's one its a very solid thick hull he travels all over in it he's been home for hurricane season getting ready to go back to the D.R.
