Have you found the long bowsprit to be a disadvantage in any way, say for docking, mooring or anchoring?

Anchoring isn't really an issue as it’s strong enough to run the anchor rode and snubber over the bow rollers away from the whiskers and dolphin striker.
The downside, some marinas want to charge for that extra 6 feet!
The upside, the 6 foot bowsprit adds sail area comparable to a 42 footer.

That is good to hear regarding anchoring. Is that the official recommendation from Gozzard?

What about mooring? Do the mooring lines tend to chafe as the boat swings?

The bowsprit is overbuilt like the rest of the boat. Mooring and anchor lines are kept from chafing the whiskers and striker. Gozzard says the stem eye is strong enough to lift the boat. You can use it as an alternative snubber attachment point for reducing scope in a crowded anchorage.
