Franch Med regulations

Guys,
Have not been able to travel (because of you know what) stuck in Oz, and therefore not seen my lovely KP44 in some time, which is the Sth France on the hard near Marseilles.

How are the French travel regulations for foreigners landing in Paris for example?

Have looked at the French websites concerning this, but I'm still feeling that it could be hit and miss with entry (lockdown or new Pass Sanitair)....anyone on the ground over there?

All I need to do is splash the boat, attend to any obvious problems, then FO to the Black Sea.

I know exactly the regs for arriving in Bulgaria, but leaving France?

All ideas most welcome

With thanks

Mark

I had a parent fly to France in October and returned earlier this month. I believe they needed to do another rapid test at Orly before taking the next hop, possibly because too much time had elapsed since the first test before leaving the US. (As a foreigner, you will of course be expected to pay for the test.)

The US CDC vax card was sufficient to obtain a Pass Sanitaire; I think you will need to visit a pharmacy for that.

AFAIK it's only the requirements of your destination country that would impact your ability to fly out. E.g. if Bulgaria wants X and you don't have it, perhaps you're not allowed on the plane.

Re: Franch Med regulations

Thanks Guys

Requiem : the purpose of the trip is to pick up the the boat, then sail to the Black Sea from France. Obviously I have enter France buy air, then leave with my boat by sea, I just have so many conflicting opinions on the best way to enter France to travel to the boat.

And in responding to Anders : Traveling from Melboune Australia, then Istanbul/Paris.
Vaccination status is previously infected and recovered with antibody test, which is acceptable to some airlines (with rapid antogen test with 24hrs prior to boarding), but I'm still not getting any response from the French Consulate here in Melbourne as to what will be my status on arrival in Paris (quarantine ?) and the ability to catch the TGV to Marseilles.

As I have mentioned, it is all very fluid at this time. All your help is much appreciated prior to handing over the dollars for the ticketing.

May we for gods sake get out of this covid confusion

Thanks Mark

Re: Franch Med regulations

Beware that Covid conditions are rapidly changing in France :

From yesterday, negative tests that were once valid for 72 hours are now only valid for 24 hours. Vax which had previously no expiry duration have now a 7 month expiry duration.
Flights with Morocco will be stopped starting next Sunday.
Flights with countries from the south of Africa are under scrutiny. Some EU countries have already stopped flights from RSA.

Beware : It is considered as un-vaccinated in France :
Source :
https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-cor...pass-sanitaire

"7 jours après l'injection pour les vaccins chez les personnes ayant eu un antécédent de Covid (1 seule injection)."

You need to be vaccinated, but with one dose only.

The main text still speak about 48 hours 72 hours tests validity , but a header specify :
"La validité des tests RT-PCR et antigéniques pour le « pass sanitaire » est ramenée à 24 heures à compter du 29 novembre 2021."
Tests are only valid for 24 hours.

Re Beware : the English version of the site ( https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/co...als-in-france/ ) is NOT updated with current rules.

Thank you for your observations. In your related link I did not see mention of the ablity to arrive then take a test, await result, then be allowed entry.....or is it now mandatory to have at least one jab no matter what?

Re: Franch Med regulations

Australia is on the green list at the moment and even unvaxxed can enter France with testing. Turkey is on the red list and unvaxxed needs a pressing reason and have 10 days guarded quarantine. No idea how they trest the fact that you are only changing planes in Turkey. Rules are changing quickly and travelling without beeing fully vaccinated can be problematic.
