Flicka 20

I noticed this little boat the other day from the water.

Tiniest boat in the marina but a Blue Water Cruising Boat just the same with a Wind Vane Autopilot,

I was told it was a Flick 20.

YUP, the smallest boat by Pacific Seacraft Corp. Very well built.

Yes, met a lady singlehander on one, in Mexico, she'd come from the PNW. Everything is small enough for a small person to handle. Not a bad deal, but Boatie's right, they are a bit pricy.

Re: Flicka 20

Looks a little different from the Pacific Seacraft Flickas I've seen - could be a Westerly Marine or homebuilt Flicka.

Re: Flicka 20

Flickas aren't double-enders. Not sure what that one is, gotta research it.

Could be a Pacific Seacraft 25.

Definitely not a Westerly..
As for being a Flicka, seems he went for portholes as opposed to Windows and added 2 to the front of the cabin.
Could be an early 'built to owners spec' model.

Re: Flicka 20

I believe it's a PSC 25, the Flicka's all had a little fancy scroll on the bow, always remind of a gypsy wagon.

Re: Flicka 20

If it is a PSC-25 (which it looks like, for sure) it is an owner finished model, of which there were a few. But the portholes are not what came on production boats.

They are very seaworthy, the biggest drawback being very low freeboard making for a wet ride and no standing headroom. They were phased out when Pacific Seacraft started producing the Flicka 20, which is one of my all time favorite boats.
