Fixed Window Replacement - Jeanneau 43 DS

A number of boats that I've been looking at have fixed windows and/or skylights. I'm curious to hear who have had these replaced in the yard and what the trouble and cost was. Both to rebed and have new ones made.

There is a Jeanneau 43DS that is local and a bit older than I'd like, but the layout is awesome for our family and is fairly clean for the most part. The immediate issue is all the windows show signs of leaking (salty trails) and will need to be rebedded. My thought if you are going to the trouble of rebedding you may as well replace them.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure a lot of folks have been through this.

Since it’s s production boat you might be able to source replacement window panels

This would save much time

To remove and replace with new windows is a simple task

Follow the instructions

SIKA is the typical product that is used to bed the windows

Google and you will see the complete instructions
