Re: Finding a new lover

I think you guys are being so unfair to satdiver and his lady friend. Come on we're talking about a guy in love AND he never said SHE wanted to spend a half mill $ on a new boat...

... satdiver, my advice is skip the larger more expensive boat step and go straight to a condo or house on shore. Git yursef a sweet little day-sailor or motor boat and dock it walking distance from the house.

Wifey B: I guess I missed the "in love" part. Maybe he expressed it so subtly I just didn't hear it.

Re: Finding a new lover

You people are crazy, why are you giving relationship advice.? The guy was asking about changing boats to suit his significant other. It has nothing to do with your personal projections and or your like or dislike for his boat.

Because the OP raised the relationship in the first post of this topic

The OP clearly likes his boat but that does not mean that everyone will like his boat. Several other boaters volunteered that found it best to pick a boat together as a couple (oh darn! It's that "relationship" thing again). That will only work if the relationship is strong enough to last.

Sharing experiences and advice about what has or has not worked is what this place is about. So, what are YOUR thoughts on the best way forward in the OP's situation?

Thanks Cap. Someone misunderstood but it wasn't us.

It's like a blonde joke. If you have to explain everything, it's no fun.

Wifey B: Totally and I am a blonde. Blue eyes too so maybe I can be Blue Blonde to your Blue Crab.

Oh and thanks for the flowers, Whisky. Virtual are the best kind as hubby has allergies to the real ones.
