Downeaster 32' & 36'

On Yachtworld.com I found these Downeaster's. Does anyone has experience with these bluewater boats.

Re: Downeaster 32' & 36'

A 32 on my dock just sold for $15k last month. It had not been used by the owner for a few years. It just needed a good cleaning and probably a bottom job.

I don't think they ever made a Downeaster 36. 32, 38, 41, and 45 are the only ones listed at the downeasteryachts.com website, where you can find quite a bit of information about these boats.

Downeaster 32 or 38. There is no 36. My buddy owns a 38 and I spend a lot of time on it. These are well thought of, classic, Water boats">blue water boats, but a bit dated in their layout. I kid my buddy about it being the classic "cave" as it's a bit dark belowdecks.

Typing error, on yachtworld.com I found the (for me interesting) 32' & 38'

These big windows are nice to bring light inside but also worries me.

But main question, what are the known issues with these boats.

Here is an owners website where you could get some info and ask some questions.
