Almost all Vibrant Red products are made with organic pigments and dyes that are subject to fading when subjected to UV light. Off-reds like Wine, Maroon, and Bordeaux are usually more color-fast.

It's funny that I've known this for many years and still didn't even think of "fabrics." Thanks for bringing it up.

Well, by not paying yourself going shop rates and not needing to get it done for a business deadline (IE - eating mistakes and slow downs) of course you could make one cheaper, regardless of it being hard or soft. I bet the canvas guy could build one cheaper also......
