Yes, in frustration I called the seller's broker asking why we'd heard nothing.

Apparently they "may get back to us in a few days", although my offer expired.

We offered full asking price, so not sure what they're looking for? Full asking price, no escrow, no survey???

I get the nerve racking part. On December 21st, we put an offer on a house 2% below asking price. They're still thinking about it. 13 days later! The ulcer ate a hole in my stomach and is already healed and we still don't have an answer. LOL

Sounds to me like the seller doesn't want a purchase contract that includes a sea trial contingency . . . . in my limited experience, there's normally a reason for that . . . . I'd move on.
