Deal or no deal

This sailboat seems like a good deal.. to good of a deal im guessing at this price someone in the marina would buy it. I wish there were more photos. 1974 peterson picses 40 sailboat for sale in California

bri--that boat is in my marina, though I've never seen it. Because the ad emphasizes "live-aboard" I would expect it to need a LOT to make it seaworthy. Looks like a home-made interior. Doesn't mention construction. Could be glass over plywood cabin, cockpit and deck?

I wouldn't expect much of a bargain.

I agree with this. Until you see the boat you really can't tell what she is. The photos look clean but I see an amateurly finished deck and interior. It doesn't mention hull construction or anything else that is important to a potential buyer. If you are interested then you'll need to call and ask all kinds of questions. I couldn't find anything on sailboatdata about a Peterson Pisces.

Hi terra. Maybe look for a mast sticking out of the water. Im sure if it was a great deal it would never have been listed.
