Hello fellow sailors, I am interested in any info on the Dana 24 and other small yet fully-livable pocket cruisers. I plan to own one in the next several years. I'm also interested in chartering such a vessel, especially if it's on the east coast where I live. ddrumone

A lot depends on what you mean by “fully-livable”; Standing headroom, standing headroom in an enclosed head, standing headroom in a dedicated shower, central A/C, provision to carry one’s surfboard/mother-in-law/PWC, or just the basics of western life… ability to provide three hots and a cot…
In any case, there is probably little argument that in general terms the Dana 24 is near the top of the food-chain for reality-sized craft (and least as far as fit and finish of generally available vessels are concerned…).
