For those of us using laptops, a post from Polux renders the thread virtually unreadable because it stretches the width of EVERY post on the page to the width of your pictures, requiring us to pan sideways to read them. A real PITA. I'm very close to adding you to my ignore list so I can actually read a thread without trackpad gymnastics.
Not just a PITA to view, but also a PITA in other ways for those cruisers who pay for their internet by the MB and/or are slow connections.

But Suijin, there may be a solution for your problem.
Go into User CP, select Edit Option and look for:

"Images wider than this width will be resized. Enter 0 to allow all widths, or leave the field empty to use the default value of 520."

Reduce the size of that option and the one below it for height.
( I have mine set to 300 x 300)
