Crealock-34 Head

I'm looking to replace the head in my Crealock-34 with a Groco Model K, but only have approx. 11" from bulkhead to the edge of the raised deck platform, any ideas? Almost every head I have considered seems to require at least 12" front to back, am I missing something?

That reminds me of an old joke but I can't tell it here.

You need another few inches for the seat to lean back so it stays up. That may not be an issue for you. I have a K and it is a large head.

Re: Crealock-34 Head

well..... it all depends on where the screws end up. If the screws within the 11" with room to fasten etc, then you could just make a piece of Starboard that is 12"+ to cover the riser top (ie: overhanging ~ 1")

Re: Crealock-34 Head
