I am about to close the
sale on a house and finally be in a position to buy a voyaging
boat. Past experience included 2.5 years on a
Tahiti Ketch from
Maine to
Grenada and back. Now looking for a well built
boat, 10 - 13 tons, with good sailing, construction,
storage and
live-aboard (2 persons) characteristics. I have a short list of four or five designs, but am very curious about the Corbin 39. The one I am considering is a later model with
bowsprit that hopefully reduces some of the design's weather-helm problems. I would appreciate any feedback from the forum regarding the Corbin. Thanks and fair winds
