Contessa 26 Mast and Traveler. Modification or Orig.
Can anyone tell me if this is an original mast step assembly or if this has been modified? I can not find any original design drawings for this. Additionally, there is seems to be a modification to the main sheet. The traveler looks like a nice setup, but I wonder if it is robust enough to be attached to the stern pulpit like that. I have seen the stainless get bent in a knockdown in this very location before.

Any thoughts would be great!
