I chose a DS over the standard model expressly for the extra height in the aft cabins. My boat has 2 cabins aft and a removable wall in the center. When removed, the aft cabin is able to accommodate a king size centerline mattress. I have left the wall in because the cabins are quite large and there is great height. I have seen that the DS model sells at a premium because they are more desirable in general. If you are interested in a
used boat, do not ignore the used collection in the
BVI which are a better value because they have been chartered in the past. I think a
surveyor can tell you if they are used or used up. Mine after a gentle
refit is ready to roll(sail).
Good luck, fair winds, following seas .
