CNG to LPG Conversion

Hi all,
This may not be the best forum for this question, but most viewers here.
I may have a smokin deal on a Catalina 36 on the west coast. Can anyone give me an idea of how easy it is to get CNG tanks refilled on west coast? How difficult and expensive is it to change over to LPG for stove and oven?
thanks,
Larry

Re: CNG to LPG Conversion

Depends on where on the west coast...

I am in and around the Newport Harbor area and Hills Boat service does a one for one exchange (Empty for filled) with payment for the fuel... About $50.00+/-

Really simple and the fuel does last fairly long...

I like the idea of it being a safe gas (Lighter than air) doesn't fill the boat to go boom!
