hardly, there are a few projects to address but she is certainly not a project boat.

Good news. Sounds like that potential question has been addressed.

The Trashman story was a bit interesting. I think a classic case of poor preparation, poor planning and crew not really fit for the trip.

If I recall, the crew abandoned into dinghy with no supplies, water or emergency kit at all. Two went delirious from drinking salt water and swam off, two were rescued.

scuttlebutt I remember hearing was that some of that crew had substance abuse issues as well.

I know and have sailed with one of the survivors. Brad is and was an excellent sailor.

He smoked a little pot. Nothing more.

I think I recall the same. They interviewed the female survivor with the typical sensationalist TV "journalism" for a show called Lucky to be Alive. Lots of nonsense but was vaguely interesting just because I knew the boat and the story.

I guess it needs an explanation. Pianos like many other musical instruments are works of art and I would include your vessel in that category. I love it.
