Re: Centerboards - good or bad

I've wanted a Krogen 38 for years and am still considering it. Unfortunately there's not a great deal of information about them. I know that some have had deck leaks, others had blister problems, and at least one boat had deterioration of the centerboard trunk. I do know that some years back a Mr. Fox and his wife sailed "Foxtrot" around the world with great success.

I would not hesitate.

Howdy. Your note is from last year, but I was hoping you still read the forum. I have a Pearson 36-2 also (my name is Greg, also). I had it inspected this week and a couple of meat hooks were found on the cable near the center board. In the New Bern/Oriental area of North Carolina, I have been unable to find a rigger who can fabricate a new one. Do you know of anyone who can make the pennant for a Pearson 36-2?
